Meet The Band!

In 2025, the In Pulse Rock Band was founded.  We are a group of music enthusiasts who want to share their passion through live performances.  We believe that music has the power to bring people together in the most positive ways.  It is our hope that our shows leave people feeling happy and energized!

Throughout her teens, Billie sang and played guitar in a couple garage bands. Her life took a few turns away from the steady band-life for a while as she raised a family and built a career in Electrical Engineering Technology.  She came back to the music through acoustic acts, fill-ins, and guest performances.  Billie was a full-time member of the band, Ponder, for a decade until they disbanded in 2024.  With the encouragement and help from a bandmate, she founded the In Pulse Rock Band. 

Son of two famous singers in Brazil, Danny became interested in music at an early age.  His original instrument was a nylon acoustic guitar at the age of 9.  By 13 years old, he became impassioned with drums and began his self-study to master this new instrument.  At 15 years old, he started playing drums professionally as a member of his mother’s band.  Danny went on to play with several famous bands and National Artists in Brazil before moving to the United States permanently in 2003.  He has been a professional drummer for 42 years.

Kevin has played in various bands throughout North Carolina since the 1980’s. Initially he played drums in a gospel band.  A friend then asked him to join a rock band. They needed a bass player, so he picked up the bass guitar.  Kevin found his voice after the lead singer quit.  He took a few voice lessons and has been singing ever since.

Dave holds down the low end for the band, In Pulse.  His influences include Geddy Lee, John Paul Jones, Steve Harris, and Geezer Butler.  He views the bass as a key ingredient to not only the groove, but also the melodic voice of the song.  Dave has been performing live since the late 1980’s.

A professional Brazilian musician for 25 years, Everton has played with some renowned bands in Brazil.  This led to several international tours and awards festivals.  He moved to the USA in 2018 to Boston, and to North Carolina in 2023.  He now completes the In Pulse band as the lead guitarist.
